Universal Geneve Polerouter automatic
The last universal geneve polerouter I saw was a diving watch and was worth around a $1000, however I don't think this one is worth anything like that, but have not been able to find this particular model (there seems to be so many out there!). Nice watch, only thing I don't like are the hands seem to be a bit rusty. As with the other watches I've poste don here, not my watch posting for info for a friend - any info on year, possible value would be appreciated. Thanks all!

Okay, so certain TV vendors love to tout the weight of a watch - and one company goes so far as to engrave the gram weight on the case of it's stainless steel pieces.What's the deal with this?Personally, I grow very, very tired of having a heavy watch on my wrist. It's always a relief when I switch to a lighter - and usually thinner - timepiece. Of course, I have relatively slim and small wrists. I'm sure it's different for you 6-foot-plus giants ().Are heavy watches really a good thing? Or are they just a trend - like gigantic diameters? I recall a time when a small, thin watch was the height of elegance and watchmakers' skill. I still subscribe to that theory since smaller and thinner is harder and more expensive to build.Does anyone really want a 300 gram watch? Aside from you giants?

Any AD's I've spoken to laugh when I ask this question. They state clearly that Patek is making watches that last a lifetime or three, and that it can surely be, or even should be, a daily watch. Further on, I'm told that many Patek owners have only one watch so clearly it's a daily. However, I have read that it should not be. I personally love my 114060 as my daily, and don't see that changing, but I'm still curious what the experts here think.

Where to get Hollow Ground Screw Driver?
Have to size my oyster bracelet. I'm tired of paying money of going to the jeweler, figured it was time to finally get my hands dirty. Where would I get one? I know I need a 1.6 but I am having a a pretty hard time finding a hollow ground variant. Is the MSA 01.202-T160 on Otto Frei the one I need if I can secure a handle from someone?
