Seiko SRP313 wrist watches news:
These watches were simple wrong. The red upper chronograph push is just awesome, simple as that. Yet again, there is only 300 of these watches products so it is unlikely that you will be able to get their hands on one (unlike the Panerai Ferrari, which was sold at half price on sale of Tourneau sample). Click here to see more details on this surprisingly beautiful Super Trofeo Lamborghini and Blancpain Chronograph, also known as the Ferrari marketing department should use as a case study.
I am looking at a Patek Philippe dress watch for frequent, if not daily, use. Hence, I require an automatic movement and would prefer the watch to show date as well.I have been in store to look at the new models and clearly like the 5227, with its clean, classical Calatrava look, coming close to the original 96. But, and this is a big but, it is simply too big in size. Hence, I had to give up on a new watch (as the complicated end of the range it out of my league).I have hence been looking at pre-owned models and have found that the 3998 seems to meet all my requirements: clean, classical look, automatic, date and 34mm. I am, however, unable to find much information on the series? Can anyone point me to a good source, where I can find information on how long it was produced for, any differences within those years (especially on the movement, but also design features), etc.? Is there anything I need to watch out for as I enter the pre-owned market for this watch? Many thanks for your hel
To show you my new PPI bought it on Thursday, after a lot of deliberation.I have always wanted to get one, but thought them to be WAY out of my price range. But I finally bit the bullet.I don't know what else to say at the moment, as I am still coming to terms with buying such a magnificent timepiece. The photos were taken at my AD, as you can see the 5140G was BNIB,just as I like them.I hope that a friend of mine will take some macro shots later on today, so that I may post them on to the reference page. Milos,a big thank you for all your help and advice while I was making my decision. Also I have sent you a PM
