- Compared to my radio clock this watch keeps very accurate time. In low to no light the dial really jumps out at you. I wish the second hand was luminous, but other than that I am very pleased with my purchase.

Seiko SKA445P1 wrist watches news:
Hamilton X-Landing-Aviation shows its true metalThe Khaki X-Landing takes the emotions on a nostalgic journey back to the first all-metal aircraft of the 1920s, and the rationale on a trip co-piloted by a feature for measuring the top of descent (TOD). The Khaki X-Landing provides pilots with precision and style in a sophisticated GMT chronograph, with design touches reflecting the materials and structures of the early metal planes. This duo of limited edition watches passionately tells the story of an aviation tradition in the language of today. Timely start of descentThe TOD marks the transition from the cruise phase of a flight to the descent phase. Pilot wearers simply mark the aircraft¡¯s cruising altitude in feet at the 9 o¡¯clock position, using the crown located at 10 o¡¯clock. Integrating a standard descent angle of 3¡ã, the Khaki X-Landing then reveals the number of nautical miles before the final destination that marks the start of the optimal descent in a small, dedicated windo
OK, something I really wasn't expecting happened to me last night. It makes sense, now that I think about it. The thing is I wasn't thinking about it, until after it had happened. I keep my cell phone plugged into its' charger on my nightstand while sleeping. I took off my automatic watch last night, my 9937, and laid it next to my cell phone not thinking there'd be a problem. This was the first time I'd taken it off at night, having worn it 24/7 almost every day except Sunday since it arrived. When I woke up this morning, looked at the time on my watch, it had completely stopped at the same time I'd gone to bed last night. Hmmm¡I'd first thought that it may have just wound down, so I picked it up and it began to run. It is an automatic, so I figured maybe it just began running again with movement, so I unscrewed the crown and gave it a quick wind. I took it out to my computer, logged on to the USNO Master Clock page and reset the time. So far, so good, thinking it was just wound down.
Hi guys,So I recently went in to my local AD and went on the 2 year waiting list for a 5711. I've been thinking in the meantime about picking up another piece. However, I've recently started to wonder if i should pick up another and get the 5711 or instead just get the 5712r instead. Obviously both different watches, but I'm thinking along the lines of the rarity and demand of the 5711 makes it special, whereas the 5712r in the rose gold and the complication makes it special. I'm new to the Patek brand so I'm looking for an opinion from the horses mouth so to speak. What do you guys think? Both I think can be worn daily and on numerous occasions. is it worth the extra and get the 5712r or waiting and joining the 5711 club with another piece in my collection? Thanks guys!!!!!! Ok any guesses?
There are several Rolex watches that are on my list... The SS Daytona white dial and the SkyDweller Blue are just a pipe dream at the moment, but are on the list none the less.So next in line is the Hulk, YMII, possible Batman, and maybe even get up enough nerve for an all gold piece one day. I am waiting for my DeepSea JC to come in.So the three contenders are:(The SS sub in the pic is mine.)And the winner is!!!And just to keep Christmas going in February my wife got a new Wolf jewelry box.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
