Marvin watches has released two new versions of their Sebastian Loeb collaboration watches with these two new pieces, one being a limited edition. Not just mere color changes, these have different, more refined dials and a great sporty look. These are the best looking Marvin Loeb Rally Collection watches yet in my opinion. I wrote about the original Marvin Loeb collection here.Using the top-level models with the Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic movements, these are offered as two sets of watches with either a red trim or yellow trip. The red trimmed model will be a limited edition of just 88 pieces. As is the case with all Marvin watches, the 8 o'clock out indicator is specially indicated. Scratches on the second hand
I was outside in the sun the other day and I was looking at my Day-Date and noticed the second hand had very small scratches on the top of it as it was going around. I ran and retreived my jewelers loop for further examination. I noticed it has scratches all the way up the entire second hand. Anyone else ever hear of this before. I contacted the Dealer I bought it from and he said, no problem, he would replace it for me anytime I was in the area. I am still wondering though, what this might be from. Rob

Establishing manufacture date from movement number
Seems there may be some guesswork involved, but can anyone help me figure out the year of manufacture for a Patek with movement number 5603xxx / 4750xxx?This is a recent piece where the certificate no longer has the four letter code. Is there another place to look / ask (Henri Stern NY said they did not have that information). Many thanks in advance...

I got this in the mail today. My first AP. Everything about this watch is amazing. The 15400 is the perfect size and really carries a lot of wrist presence. I have a feeling many of my other watches will be jealous of the wrist time this is going to get. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Patek is so boring
I have been waiting for them to come up with something interesting for years now. I love the minute repeaters but they are out of my budget. Other than that? I dont know.I LOVE the 5159 retrograde perpetual calender. That watch is a piece of art. Its so romantic. So yellow gold. I love it. Is it boring? Kind of. It lacks something. I dont know. But I adore that model. It will be my first PP unless Patek comes up with something new. I am in Geneva now.You guys need to visit this place. Watches and history everywhere. Expensive tho yet the CHF is cheaper than tbe EUR.Nautilus. That rounded octagon shape that still has corners? So not exactly rounded? I find it hideous. Thabk god because they are impossible to get.No one does minute repeaters, yellow gold and perpetual calenders (except for FPJ) better than PP.If Basel doesnt bring anything interesting I will own a Patek (5159J) but just because I dont like anything else. This is my personal preferance. Dont get offended by it. What are y
