- I loved the beautiful simplicity of this watch. The only blem for me is that it is a little for my wrist. I wear it to work and out to more formal functions.

IWC IWC 37185 wrist watches news:
There was a lot of controversy over the three-handed Below Zero watch that Hamilton released within the last year. I spoke about it here, and suggested that it had a subtle art deco styling. A good deal of people disagreed, while many saw exactly what I was talking about. I didn't realize a little bit of art deco was something to disagree over. Suffice it to say that the original Hamilton Below Zero was an acquired, or at least subjective taste. Now Hamilton is about to release the chronograph version of the Below Zero watch, and have made more changes than expected. Other than the addition of the chronograph via an ETA Valjoux 7750, check out the subtle changes all over the case and dial. You'll notice that the case has been "de-avant-garded" a bit. The bridge between the lugs has been removed. I actually liked this bridge a lot. It said "Hamilton" on it and look edinteresting giving the strap a nice integrated look. I had once a funny discussion with guys at the AD, as i was looking two SS subs, one with and one without datethese two guys actually had their own opinion on each and trying to defend theirs, which is interesting actually. No, they dont say anything bad about any of them.. but it is more towards functionality, personality, style , and spirit of the subs. appologize if this poll has ever been done before,, but i really would like to have opinion on this two models , i strongly feel that my next would definitely be a sub.. both are beautifull watch thanks for participating...Pete J
OK - Seeing the link on the Hamilton Rodney (link) and then reading the post by Dennis on his JLC (link) has made me think it is time to dip my toe in to the proverbial vintage pool. I have been focusing on Hamiltons generally and enjoy their history (although a LeCoutre could be an option). So, some thoughts to start us off:White Gold or Stainless SteelManual or AutoLarger Case Size (~35?)Leather StrapDay or Date not ImportantDressier - I really like the look of the Rodney mentioned earlier and the JLCAge of the watch is not a concern. I guess at this point I am looking for models or direction and then I can start to watch for a candidate watch to make itself available for purchase. As this is the first dive into the deep end of the pool, should probably stay away from really rare pieces.Thoughts / Ideas / Suggestions? Thanks!B
I am thinking of adding an PAM292 and in my mind I am Think it would be a killer on a black OEM JV strap, anyone have seen this combo? Pictures?Sort of like this, ony that I Think it would look even better with the matte JV strap...
Afternoon all,Just recently picked up a 126600 and whilst the bracelet is fantastic, I do like the idea of putting it on a strap occasionally. Has anyone done this yet, and if so do they have an pictures they'd like to share. I'm thinking custom calf, alligator etc not a NATO.Thanks
