Seiko SXDC95 wrist watches news:
Happy holidays to all. I have a question, but thought my first post should be about my watch first. I just wired money to (___________) and hope to see my PAM 111 arrive Christmas eve! I am very pumped and still can't believe it. I will update and post pics as soon as I am able. While talking to a AD in New Orleans recently, I learned that the SS bracelet will fit on any Marina Luminor made after a particular year. I cannot remember which year, though it doesn't really matter, as my purchase is a K model.Assuming my watch can be fitted with a bracelet, where would I find one?I did a brief search around the forums and came up empty handed. Is there a replacement bracelet that can be purchased from an AD at a resonable cost? Just curious, really. I would like to add one to my collection to dress the 111 up from time to time. For now, I ordered a custom ammo type strap. Should be really cool.
Try dropping this one into a conversation: "I see you noticed my Tubbataha - it is very nice isn't it.." Awkward name aside, I think this is a stunning looking diver, and a change from the recent bunch of ProDiver-based Limited Editions. A dark blue dial (46mm) with an orange minute hand and markers, 500m WR, titanium case & bracelet (or rubber strap if you prefer), auto helium escape valve (yes, it will most likely never be used, but cool factor is way up there), and limited to 2000 pieces. To top it off, there is a very cool shark motif hiding on the caseback. The unusual dial layout of a regulator doesn't appeal to everyone, but it certainly can't be accused of looking like every other watch out there No indication of price at this time, but looking at the specs expect it to be on the higher side compared to the other Oris divers (but below the ProDiver models I would hope).Tubbataha is a National park of reefs in the Phillipines, and of course a percentage of sales of these watc
I know nothing about watches, but would love to know what make / model this is. It's Pierce Brosnan's watch from "The Matador":Can anybody help me ID this please?-Ben
I'm eyeing this Breitling SuperOcean being sold at TimeZone for about 1150 USD, shipped (insured) including paypal fees. This seller is the second owner of the watch, and he only had it for 30 min and realized he doesn't need a 3rd SuperOcean Professional. Box and Papers are there plus it has been serviced by Breitling and has a stamp on the booklet indicating maintenance.I know Breitlings do not have great resale value but usually my watches are keepers. Any Breitling afficonados think this is a good deal and in terms of the superocean line, they good?BTW, this is not the chronometer version.Caseback has no markings etc.Thanks.Vernon
Got this earlier today..speedmaster ref 145.022 69stIt's got the rare caseback, and is now fitted on a brown vintage leather strap :-)Only downside is the newer service-hands.. But the old original hands was included and I just need to make the swap!Don't really know how rare these casebacks are.. does it increase the value of the watch significantly? Saw one on chrono24 at 4k USD...
