Seiko SSC264 wrist watches news:
I just purchased a new Seamaster with the 2500 co-axial movement, I looked up in the Orbita database and it says that it can be wound in either direction and should be wound between 650 to 800 TPD. I was wondering what others have their winders set at for this watch. I have the ability to set the TPD and the rotation on the winder. Should I go for the 800 or the 650 TPD. Is the coaxial set up like the ETA 2824 where it cannot be over wound? It will be a while before I will be able to pry this beauty off of my wrist but I do not want to neglect my Breitling or Tag Heuer either let alone all of my other great automatics that are in the usual rotation. Thanks for any help or insight.
Anyone here use the Bergeon 6825 for removing their bracelets?I see them online and most time they have a line that says "will not work with Rolex watches"Looking to find a tool that is easy to use and not scratch my watches. The Bergeon 6825 looks to be quick and easy to use.Anyone have a favorite tool.Any guidance is appreciated Thanks Gummy
Hi Guys .......I am being a good samaritan and helping a lady over on etsy , she wanted my 1956 hamilton, but I had already sold it ......so I am helping her find a nice 1956 watch ( the year her special guy was born) .....She just asked me about this Hamilton ......( removed due to the fact it was a commercial seller.....my apologies ....) and wonders why it is $465 .......and I can't really tell her other than it's pretty ? and looks to be in good shape ......Could one of you knowledgable Hamilton guys please be so kind as to tell me why that price is on this watch ? ...and if it's a good price ? ....I do apprieciate it ......and if anyone has a 56 watch of moderate price they would like to sell, I would be very glad to hook you up ......she is being so cute....she reads all my information about watches and is being very patient .....especially for someone who is completely unkowledgable about watches ......and thanks .......
I was recently looking through my drawers and uncovered an old fossil watch (LI-1690). Its a toy story 2 limited edition watch. The watch was made back in 1999 when the movie was released. Only 3000 of this watch were made and I have #0284. This is the watch img512.imageshack.us/img512/9478/p8310002p.jpgIs there any estimate I could be given for what the value of the watch is?Thanks
are the Breitling PM watches specifically the transocean made of solid gold?I assume that they are to justify the price but I wanted to check I didnt find much on google. I think they call there mix of gold rose gold vs rolex everrose branding. how about the 2 tone bracelets are they solid gold links?any comments on the durability?
