The new Engineer Master II Diver Worldtime from Ball Watch Company is now available at authorized retailers. The watch houses a movement that incorporates a world time module developed by Ball and manufactured in its workshops. The module is added to the ETA caliber 2836 to create the first Day/Date Worldtime movement. Three central hands display local time, while a 24 hour disk rotating counterclockwise simultaneously indicates the time in 24 different time zones. Fifty-five self-powered micro gas lights assure up to 25 years of easy night viewing. The case measures 45mm in diameter and is water resistant t0 300 meters or 1000 feet. What is the most extreme measure you've taken to get a watch?
I am sitting on my sofa, browsing the web looking at pictures of a watch, a Rolex Submariner 14060m pre-chronometer. I have been thinking about this watch more and more everyday and I know it will be my next purchase but, I just don't know when. Thoughts of selling part of my wife's DVD collection or one or two of my dogs have flashed through my mind more than once and I think "Bond, get a hold of yourself! This is only a watch!! There are more important things."That is true. There are more important things (although I couldn't come up with any at that very moment). But when you have been chasing something for so long and you are close to getting it, but still so far away that desire to 'get it now' takes over. And you are almost willing to give up whatever is necessary to get that one desirable things. Anyone else ever felt this way over a watch? Please tell me I'm not alone here. :) ~JB

To Flip, or Not to Flip?
Hi TRFers. I'm in the midst of a quandary, and I'm hoping for some solid advice:I've had my Sub 114060 for almost a year now, and while I have been fully enjoying my time with it, lately I find myself craving something a bit more unique. Ive always been drawn to the BLNR, and I'm on the list for one at a local AD, which I've been told should be available with in the next 2-3 months. Thing is adding it in addition to my 114060 is definitely not an option. I would have to trade the Sub, plus cash to make the switch. I just don't know if I'd regret it down the road. Arguments for: date/gmt function, I love the unique black/blue bezel, I've grown to like the pcl's so much that I think I actually prefer them to the bcl's, although the glidelock is great I dont use it much (and never change it more than 5mm), I've tried the BLNR on once before and preferred the fit/case dimensions to the Sub, its more unique...and probably the main reason (although I told myself when I got the Sub that I
