Seiko 5R86 wrist watches news:
Is "Konstantin Chaykin" like the dark version of "Vacheron Constantin?" At very least the name sounds like the Russian version but then again "Konstantin Chaykin is a Russian name. While most of his work is in the clock category, Konstantin Chaykin now debuts a fascinating timepiece that he called the Lunokhod. The watch focuses on its novel moon phase indicator, and has a really interesting design that seems to fit with the brand's motto "religion of time" (sounds creepy, I know).Konstantin Chaykin is a very accomplished watchmaker and is a member of the AHCI (where all the coolest indy watch makers want to be!). He seems to specialize in complex calendar clocks, so I recommend you check out his website for some neat stuff. The Lunokhod watch is something else entirely. The name means "moon walker" and it is his homage to Michael Jackson. No, that's a joke. It refers to a Russian un-manned lunar lander that went to the moon in 1970. It also happens to look a bit like Jules Verne sci-f
Hi All - I just got word from my local Omega Boutique that retail pricing will be going up 7% starting March 1st.Seems relatively on par having just witnessed the 8% increase with Breitling's this past Monday.Cheers,P
Hey Guys,I recently purchased my first AP. It's the grey themes ROO in titanium on a titanium bracelet. I normally wear my other pieces (Panerai/Rolex/Ulysee/GP) to work (physical job) and night out (ie.Vegas/Miami/etc) without worrying if it gets scratched. My PAM actually looks like it came from pre 1950 ( I kinda like it like that/with some good patina). Wondering about how the AP will hold up? I think my PAM looks great the way it is but not sure if the AP will look good scratched up. The AP looks so great the way the bezel and case play off each other right now and don't want to ruin that. I like using my toys and wondering if others wear their watches the way I do. Thanks Guys P.S. would really appreciate if anyone would be willing to share pics of their pieces.
Does anyone know the correct size screwdriver in order to adjust the bracelet on the AP RO 15400?Thanks!!
Any suggestions on a leather strap for a '98 LE Aerospace (ti with blue dial)? Not all that impressed with the official Breitling selection at my AD. Looking for a dressier look (and a 20 with ti hardware), as the rest of my collection is SS on SS bracelet. Cheers.
