- Loved the style of the watch and the color, but it was too much bling for me. I'm a jeans and tshirt kinda gal. Would love to see a simular watch with less crystals

Seiko Seiko 50110 wrist watches news:
Hi all, anyone who read my rant in the General Forum (about the servicing of my Tag diver) may have picked up that my beloved SO is damaged - The crown is loose on its stem, as if over-tightened when screwing in the crown. My Tag is a very similar arrangement and I've never had a problem with the technique of screwing it in after winding or changing the time.Luckily a workmate was heading up to Auckland (where I bought it) and happily took it back to the AD (with the warranty booklet) for me.I'm happy to say they called me the same day he took it in, and said that they had confirmed the fault, and were sending it to Breitling Australia (the nearest service centre) for repair under warranty (at no charge). That to me is great customer service, and I hope the rest of the experience will be as good.Looking forward to its return, good as new, where it will be straight back on the wrist :)This in comparison to my TAG AD who has not contacted me once, either by phone or email in nearly 5 MONTH
As the title suggests, do you think "luxury" brands are getting too expensive too fast? Are they getting more expensive faster than other items? For the purpose of this discussion, a luxury brand is any brand selling it's staple of models over $1,000. This would include everything from Tag to Patek Philippe so obviously it's a wide & general discussion. I was thinking this as I noticed a couple models had tripled in the past 5 years. Now that's the extreme, so I went & checked. A couple stats...Rolex: the average price of a Rolex from 2004 to 2009 climbed 39.7%. 3 models climbed over 50% over this 5-year period. The steel & gold Datejust (51.5%), the stainless steel Datejust (52.4%) and the stainless steel Daytona (51.5%). Only 1 model - the steel & white gold bezel Turn-O-Graph had a total increase of less than 20%. Surprisingly, the next 2 to climb the least were the all gold ladies Datejust on a jubilee (27%) and the Day-Date president (28%).Breitling: the av
Okay, so admittedly I wasn't overly compelled to look at the new white side of the moon, which looks a bit weird in my honest opinion, during Basel this year. But Omega may have pulled it out of the hat with the new DSotM Collection, which I think look pretty darned cool! Thoughts? You can read my thoughts here
Why are Patek Philippe's aperture wheels often not dial-colour-matched? Is this explained by legibility, cost-cutting through mass production or with some other rationale?
Received it today in time for thanksgiving 😍I¡¯m glad I went with the jubelie and glad I went with Blue!My subC is still my favorite but that one is a very close second
