Problem with WTF watch
When we received these watches I did not post anything due to the fact that mine arrived defective. Since this was my first EL watch and my first buying experience through Fine-Time, I was as you might imagine a little skeptical about this watch. I asked for a refund as it was defective. I was told by Fine-Time that I would have to send it in for repair to a third party and I would be reimbursed for the shipping charges. I knew that they had done a special engraving for us so I did as requested and sent in the watch for repair at a cost of 12.07 for shipping. The watch came back yesterday with the same problem it left with, no receipt for repair, nothing. I sent e-mails out to Fine-Time, Mr. Cary as well as Gerard with EL as both had assured me this problem would be taken care of and that my watch would be taken care of by an expert watchmaker. I have sent e-mails to Fine-Time and to Gerard of EL asking once again for a full refund for purchase price, this was yesterday afternoon. I ha

AT size question?
Friends-so, long story short. I'm in the market for a skyfall AT. i tried the 41.5 in another color and was ready to purchase but my AD, was quickly out of stock. he also had no 38.5s to try at the time. so while i was waiting for him to get back in stock on the larger AT, i do what everyone here does, i started reading all the various threads on 38.5 vs 41.5 and the watch in general, preparation of my purchase.now i am in trouble i have been to the NYC boutique many times and am at a stand still on which to get. I'm a 7 inch wrist, not a big guy, who owns a newish Sub ND, explorer 11, and this is the big change recently, only one Panerai, my first love the 243. i have definitely gravitated to the smaller, now thIS sounds crazy to many of you, models over the last two years. i only wear the 44mm Panerai in the summer. Proportionately i feel i could go either way, thou aging eyes like the 41.5 better.would like to hear from the group on experiences, all advise is appreciated.Posted this

While working at the Port Columbus Airport today I recognized a fellow a couple people ahead of me in the TSA line. Then it dawned on me that it was the former head of NASA (sorry, can't remember his name). The TSA was really giving his luggage a going over so I had the time to ask him if he indeed was who I thought he was. He was nice enough to confirm my suspicions. But what actually caught me eye originally was his watch. I then asked and is that a Speedy you are wearing? He smiled and said it sure is. I responded how appropriate. So does anyone have any more info on price increase in uk? Are we thinking 1st Nov? The pricing structure is still so out compared to the rest of Europe.SubC in Spain is 6900 euros (?6190) retail in uk is ?5450 I think. That's a saving of ?740 for 2 hour cheap flight granted uk doesn't have any available however I feel they need to raise prices to align themselves with the rest of Europe.
