- This is my second Stuhrling watch and I am pleased with the quality watches of this company. The face size is very large so if your wrists are , this watch will be overbearing. I feel that this watch is simple and elegant.

Seiko SNAE80P1 wrist watches news:
Please can anbody give me any information on this Tema watch please, Google gives no results. What i have managed to find out is, the movement is a Hermann Becker manual wind (caliber 551 i think), HB made manual wind movements from 1955 and then made auto's from 1958. Assuming the manual wind movements were discontinued on production of Auto's i would guess this watch dates mid to late 1950'sClick on the pic to enlargexyz1 040.jpgxyz1 041.jpgxyz1 042.jpgAny info greatly appreciated.
My dad's 70 birthday is coming, and I want to give him a new watch, but there are too many variables to think, and I certainly can't find a watch that satisfies all1. Square shape (this leaves 90% of the watches out of competition), he doesn't like round watches 2. Simple look (no complications)3. Light weight, so i guess that a bracelet is out of the competition too4. Easy to read, let's say a high contrast between hands and dial5. Date is not an issue, so date or no-date isn't important6. No manual wind7. No preference for auto or quartz, certainly I guess that he will use it as a daily wearer, so no problem with a dying mechanical8. A recognized swiss brand9. Brand new watch, no vintage or so10. Between $1 and $250011. Mid size (36mm to 40 mm)I was looking for the Tissot Quadrato, with blue dial, the one that has a big 3, 6 and 9 numbers, but I'm not totally convinced, as I can't find one in leather, just in rubber strapalso was looking the Omega X2, but too busy dial for his taste,
I am going to be in Buffalo in a few weeks, any good watch stores up there to look at. Going to try and convice the wife to let me bring home a new watch
Share you watchwinder and ap collection
I've been absolutely loving the 5960p since picking it up, and even though it may not be the most collectable Patek, it's definitely the right watch for me and that's what it's all about, as sometimes you just have to go with your heart The 5070 will just have to wait a bit longer Been snapping a few pics of the 5960 over the holidays, and thought I'd share them. Hope you enjoy!
