- Fits on my wrist well. Only disadvantage is that to set the date you need to keep twisting the nob rather than on digital watches when you press several buttons and the task is done.

Hi,First Post on this forum. My Father is giving me his Hamilton watch next week that was a wedding present from his parents (my grandparents) in 1951. I do not know what it is yet as I have not seen it but I will receive it and take a picture and start a new thread asking questions about it. All that I know so far is that it is gold, and has a round face. As I said, I will know more next week.In the meantime, I am looking to buy a chronograph without a tachymeter on the outer ring (which rules out about every Rolex! :)) and like the looks of the Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro. In addition I think it might be kind of cool owning an old Hamilton and a new one. In checking the Maestro, I see that some of them have ETA 7750 and others have ETA H21. Can anyone give me some insight into this? I have read that 7750 is considered top of the line but is H21 a big downgrade? And why do some watches in the Maestro line have one and others have the other?Thanks....Howard
I go through this every year and it's annoying. At first it was so annoying I was resizing them, but now I wear what fits when it's cold and have them all basically sized for summer. The deal is in the winter, for example, my Seamasters are ALMOST big enough to rotate around my wrist, however, if I remove the half-link when it gets warmer in the spring they are so tight they leave marks.Luckily the others have micro adjustments, or I can just wear a strapped watch...but you know how I feel about those. Just wondering if you all have similar problems and do you resize them in the winter and summer or just leave them.
Thinking of trading in my AP Diver for a JLC MUT moonphase 18K (39mm). Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated...especially from those who own or owned both watches.
