first im goin to tell you alittle story. 2 year ago I didnt know anything about watches, so i bought my first watch it was an Adee Kaye, so I went to a watch forum and ask about the brand, Everybody in the forum was kind they didnt say anything bad they even told me that for the money it was a good watch. so there i was wearing a watch that i though it was good, i was an ignorant. some people say "if you like it wear it" this is not true when it comes to watches. Now that i have alittle knowledge i would not buy a watch that it is poorly made even if i like it.One day i was helping one of my elderly Neighbors that looks like Clint Eastwood to change a tire, he look at my watch and ask me to take it off i did and then he ask me how much i pay for it, i say $150 and then he told me "how can you pay $150 for that chinese made crap you got ripp-off" i was shock ..but i was thankful he was Honest with meIf a beginner come to this forum ask our Opinion on the new watch/brand that they jus
Hi All,I have the opportunity of purchasing a NOS AP Safari (old model of course, with rubber pushers) or the AP 26320 ROC in SS with a SS bracelet. The price difference is about 3K with the Safari being cheaper.Any advice from the forum?Specifically, I'm not sure how the rubber pushers stand up to wear and tear, as opposed to the new ceramic?your help is greatly appreciated.thanks again.
I owned one of the last Base Logo which is the R serial before it was discontinued. It seems that Panerai has switched the sausage dial (embossed from the dial) to the painted dial on a recessed surface to the dial similar to PAM510 / 560 / 590.Was this changes made only towards the end of the production? Or has it always been in this dial but due to the viewing angles of the photo in the internet it looks as if the dial was embossed. Anyway I love the PAM000 that I have regardless of which dial it has. Now I know why a lot of people love the Zeros. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Although they didn*t have any Basel steel, they had a ND Submariner, every Milgauss varietal, two DeepSea SDs, a bunch of SS and TT DJ41s and some of my personal favorites in the running for WATCH Number TWWWOOOOO... Naturally his salesmanship crept around spouting about, ※buy now before the price increases.§ But I*ll see him soon enough, anyway. These were absolute STUNNERS in the skin. The RG is not loud as you would think for a gold watch; and I LOVE the weight. I am also a fan of the WG DD with the blue dial; but I already have a white metal covered.. and oooohhh man that Daytona blue was tempting.I might add they had a champagne w/diamond OF Daytona as well.
