Tissot Needs Repair
Rik, I've got this old Tissot Seastar PR516. I think I messed up really bad with it. I was setting the date on it, and while turning the crown on it, it began to get really hard to turn. I continued anyway, and eventually I felt something break loose inside! Something broke. Now it won't operate anything. In retrospect, I know how foolish it was to continue trying to force the issue. I took it to a local jeweler who told me they would let the repairman look at it, then call me with an estimate. Well, they called me a few days later and told me they could not get the parts needed to fix it.1. Is there any hope for finding parts for this watch?2. Is there a chance that I damaged it beyond repair?3. Do you, or somebody you know, have the parts and knowledge necessary to fix it?4. Do you think it's worth fixing?

Sub Dials are off center ???
I tried posting this in the Omega forum, but no answer yet:My wife's 4 month old Speedmaster Olympic Edition sub dials are slightly off. The 30 minute dial is slightly off center to the right when you reset the chrono. I took it into my watch store and they fixed it in 30 minutes.My question is:1. How or why does this happen? It wasn't like that when we first got it 4 months ago. All the sub dials were perfectly centered.Has this happen to anyone else? Should i worry that this watch is some how damaged now?Thanks for any feedback...

Seems it's known that the minute hand tends to jump on 15400 when pushing in the crown after setting the time. There's a few methods to reducing this tendency but I find they don't always work and it's a bit disappointing in general. Anyone ever had this remedied by apsc?
