A couple of weeks before Basel, I had the pleasure of getting to see a watch that, if it were possible, would have made my jaw hit the floor. That kind of watch that makes you unintentionally ignore the very nice PR person who is showing you it, because you get lost in all of the little details you need to examine and absorb.Then, at Basel, I had the chance to see it again, along side of color variations, and it confirmed that, yes, this was one of the most stunning watches I've seen in a while. The watch is the Junghans Meister Telemeter, and it's a watch to take serious note of. Watch Winders, GOOD OR BAD?
What do you lot think about watch winders? Ive 4 automatic watches now, and i like the idea of popping any on without setting it up first, also there is the fact that the watch is not sitting imobile for weeks or even months.There are quite a few on ebay for about ¡ê100 (4 watch). If it does prolong the service intervals and helps keep the watch more accurate then its got to be worth it, hasnt it??? Id like to hear your opinions on this subject.

So, a few changes to the AP collection:- The 57th Street has gone to a new home, a lovely gentleman who was a pleasure to deal with. - The Novelty Rose Gold has gone to a different home, again a very nice chap who was also a pleasure to deal with. - The Legacy has made its way to yet another abode, the beast will be missed!I have some interesting bits on order, if AP ever decide to confirm, but in the meantime, I treated myself to this:

Jomashop Speedmaster deal?
Omega Speedmaster Stainless Steel Mens Watch 311.33.42.30.01.001, saw this watch at Jomashop and thought it was a good deal at 3,149.00. What do you guys think? I am aware that their watches come wo a factory warranty but that doesn't really bother me. This is the 1861, hesalite, 42mm with leather strap, deployment, manual wind, Man on the moon. New in box. Just the specs I am looking for.
