- It's masculine because of the size, yet very feminine with the swarovski detailing. I love it! It's very easy to wear casual or dressy.

TAG Heuer WAP2011.FT6027 wrist watches news:
Sinn was pretty quiet this year at Baselworld 2010. I walked into their booth proudly wearing a Sinn watch myself to find not a soul that spoke English. Really Sinn? Actually, I can't be too surprised, the competent watch maker is a ghost in the United States. With just one authorized dealer (only online), Sinn watches aren't exactly common 'round these parts. But that shouldn't be the case. 2010 didn't have any super exciting new Sinn models that herald in a new era of "superman watch," but there area few interesting pieces. One is the U200 - which is a 'big boy's watch" for smaller wrists. And then there is this unique Sinn 142 St II GZ. An obfuscatory and odd name for a pretty interesting watch. In addition to the Dubois Depraz Calibre 2070 (base ETA 2892-A2) automatic movement its chronograph, synced 24 hour hand, and date, the watch has the first "tide bezel" I've ever seen. The interesting function allows you to set the bezel, and then figure out the tides in a given area for that

Was someone here the winning bidder on a recently closed auction for an abovementioned model on the swamp? I was a bit surprised that it brought so much, over $300 to be exact. I was outbid very early on.It appeared to be in relatively nice shape(clean lume dial, nice hands, running-not serviced) but, still with some wear through on the corners. I got mine, also with wear through on the corners a year or so back and was fortunate to get it for much less along with my Langdon which was 'swish'. I have since had mine rebuilt and serviced and wear it frequently. I am always looking for a better case example but, at that price, I might be looking for a while. But, it is possible I am missing something that made this worth more, anyone have any thoughts or insights?
Hey guysI have another question; a quick Google search reveals that there are a number of online sellers of expensive watches, often offering considerable savings on brand new watches versus traditional high-street shops. Are these guys worth considering?I'm looking to make my first serious purchase and have to say I am considering one of these online sellers, who offer 24-hour delivery and all kinds of guarantees, and seem to be quite reputable. But then I can't help thinking that there is a lot of comfort in knowing you've bought a watch from an authorised seller, who has a store you can just visit if you have any problems, and you know exactly what you're getting.Has anyone experienced one of these so-called grey market sellers? Are they worth a look?
I recently saw the 5204R at an AD, although I didn't get a chance to try it on the wrist due to time constraints. What are your thoughts on this watch? I have tried on the 5204P white and black dials before and although the RG looks nice on the 5270, it didn't seem as warm on the 5204. Maybe it is something to get used to as the 5204R is such a new watch. Here is a stock photo from the Patek website. When I saw the watch in person behind the glass display it didn't stand out as much as the stock photo.
