Great watch, great color scheme. Has mass appeal. Hope there will be a larger variety of them, meaning maybe a square face desing if there isn one out there as yet, and even a one with neon coating to see time in the dark.

Complete beginner
I am looking for a watch to start my collection, I am looking for a decent quality watch for a couple hundred dollars 300-600. I have a fairly strict budget because I am a teenager just looking to start out with. I want a watch that could be seen as a "dress watch" and be sporty enough to wear out on the lake.

Some Help With Complex Enameling ? .....pleeeeease !!!!!
here's a reminder of the watch that needs re-enameling.....so, I am gonna give this a shot at enameling .......I know to get Testor's Enamel, and use a spotting brush....( an old fashioned teeny tiny brush that comes to a sharp point used to "spot" out white spots in photo prints......) I was actaully pretty good at spotting ......there is one leeeetle problem about this watch that has me concerned .....if you look carefully you can see the remnants of the green and black paint......and er .....the colors are not nearly straight up and down or on concentric lines around the crystal .....nope they angle in at each other and cross paths with every color change .....yikes !...so ....so I put in all the greens and clean off any edge leaks, then put the black in and hope that none bleed too far over and creep into the green area......does the paint dry hard enough so that if the green is very dry and some black is smeared aross it while cleaning the black, will the black clean without sta

The economy and watches
Do you think the slumping economy is going to hurt watch sales?Will you stop buying - or buy fewer this year?Or will your purchases be unaffected?My view is sales will slump. I'll buy fewer, but I decided that before the dollar plunged and the economy tanked. However, I think it will make me think a bit longer before I pull the trigger on any particular watch.

Will the 15202 complete my collection
I have been thinking the past week or so wether i should pull the trigger and go on a full hunt for a steel 15202 but, i also was thinking do i actually need a 15202 when i have a 15300. I know a lot of people would say 5711>15202 and 15202>15300 but i already have a 5712 and a 15300 and atm the 15202 is my grail watch, just not sure if i should get a 15202 or go for another AP out there. My high end collection atm is a 5712,5164 and 15300 (have 3 more but they don't fall in my high end section). If anyone out there has a recommendation on my next AP the max budget i am willing to put on an AP is $30k USD.
