Ok gang, I have read and learned about the favorite Omega AD for sales, but how about the favorite service center here in the US? I was looking at the owner's manual of my new SMP and it shows various centers here in the US....what's your opinion? experience w/any of these? alam
Official word is that the 11/01 increase is postponed "pending consolidation with a global price increase" whatever that means.Fr. John+
I really wonder how much 'one' can take in, but here in the beginners forum, I expect people to have enquiring minds and ask questions.BUT, I have some concern. For example in this thread:watchtalkforums.info/foru...orum/44071.htmmuch info was posted, and I posted (in my opinion) some very interesting Rolex Horolgy Information i.e.Quote"I am currently in discussion to buy a 'didactic bubbleback' (rolex)"Unquote"Didactic Bubbleback" really everyone knew, understood what this is/was?Not I, when it was offered to me, the FIRST thing I did was E mail back "What IS a 'Didactic Bubbleback'Of course now I know.Reading posts is easy, learning is much harder, if you know, fantastic, but if you do NOT - ask! This is a very strategic part of Rolex history, and ALL Rolex people should understand it.RegardsAdam
Hey guys,I purchased my first AP from a vendor on the forums about 2 monthgs ago. It was brand new. I recently noticed that it keeps dying / stopping on me. For example, Saturday 10:10am, watch stops working after its been worn for the last 3 days. I ended up giving it a little shake and it started to work again. This has happened a few times in the span of 2 weeks. I was recommended to give it a wind by the local AP AD, 30-40 winds. I have done that twice now, but the watch does not keep power.Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!
Hi all. I thought this might be a different type of thread. Can you remember your very first watch, the one that got you into collecting watches in the first place? the one that stole your heart (and money) Mine was the Breitling Chronomat TT which is no longer with me. That was back in 2007 and I've loved every minute of our wonderful hobby ever since. Why not post photos and details of your first and share with us all.
