- Thought long and hard about the brand and style I wanted. I am very happy with my choice. The black dial with the yellow accents really make the face pop. The band is very elegant but can still work with a casual attire. I am a guy and it is a little er than I expected, however it still fits my wrist nicely and has gotten me quite a few positive comments. Over all a very nice watch at a reasonable price.

- Love this watch -I just got this today. I did have to take out a few of the links as I have an extremely wrist and I was afraid it wouldn't go that , but it did. I love it, my reward for not smoking for a month!

Today I will be flying to Geneva to learn how to make a watch and one of you is joining me. If you recall, back in December 2012, our monthly giveaway was for either a Frederique Constant (or Alpina) watch, and the grand prize was a trip to Geneva to build your own watch and take it home with you. Well, now our grand prize giveaway winner, Mr. Andrew E. and I will be fulfilling the experience at the headquarters of Frederique Constant this week.This will be the first time either of us will build a watch. Explorer II and GMT feature
I just bought a pre-owned Explorer II from Tourneau. The price on the new ones just jumped I think something like $600 and so the preowned piece seemed like a good idea. It was manufactured in 2000. I have a stainless/gold datejust that I've had for about 18 years which I think looks really good.Anyway the question relates to the big red hand that is suppose to track the 2nd time zone. I did not get an instruction manual on setting it. But I did figure something out and set it to track EST while I'm PST - so 3 hrs ahead. I would expect the big red hand hand to stay exactly 3 hrs ahead of the hour hand. This does not seem to be occuring. What should I be seeing? Any help/advice would be appreciated. thanksterry

Yesterday I bought myself a new watch a Casio pathfinder, I have not bought a new watch in months, So when I saw it I was'nt all exicted about it at first but after a day it's staring to grow on me even though it's a digital not an analog. I keep saying to myself everytime I walk into a jewlery or department store that I will not buy anything. But the thing is I'm starting to get board with buying watches, I'm not saying I'm going to stop all I'm saying is I need to take sometime and just stop buying for a while, I'm still going to be around just to vist and post advice and help any way I can. So do any of you guy's feel the same way?
