TAG Heuer CV2017 wrist watches news:
Welcome back to an original watches-dealer feature, "My First Grail Watch". In this series, we ask prominent people in the watch industry about the first timepiece that they lusted after. Today, we're talking with a man who got his start restoring vintage chronographs, and is now ?the Creative Director of Ernst Benz - Leonid Khankin.watches-dealer (ABTW): Who are you and what is your relationship to the watch industry? Leonid Khankin (LK): I am the Creative & Managing Director of Ernst Benz. I am also a second generation watchmaker who grew up doing restoration, specializing in chronographs and complications. It was always my aspiration to build watches which came true when I took the helm of Ernst Benz. Now I live my watch making and creative dream building watches with my friends and have the privilege to present them in some of the most amazing stores in the world.ABTW: What was your first grail watch?LK: I was always captivated by and very passionate about chronographs and cale
Back from vacation and falling in LOVE with (2) recent SWI arrivals. The first is SL-600-10, all black with black MOP. This HUGE automatic sports a very unique crown-guard that spans two posts adjacent to the crown. It comes with a steel bracelet and a rubber strap (although I will probably NEVER use the rubber strap). Powered by a SW-200, the watch is executed beautifully. Textured and polished black MOP contrasts the black IP of the case and bracelet. Good "lume" accents the hands and affords night visibility of the time. An exhibition back offers a great view of the Swiss movement and the watch comes with its own little SWI travel winder; one of the best offered as it is intermittent, direction controlled and can be powered off batteries making it a true travel winder. The bracelet fits perfectly thanks to half links. Plating, fit and finish is typical of Lior's higher-end products. A NASTY little watch that makes a very aggressive statement on the wrist. The second watch is true mast

HiI went to the Rolex Store today to choose between the Submariner date and GMT master ll. The seller told me that most people buy the Sub vs the GMT and the the sub is a better investment Over the GMT in the long run! Is this true? By the way the GMT looked bigger on my wrist and I don't know why?
