- I bought this watch for my mom on Christmas eve - yeah, last minute shopper. The rose gold looks more bronze in person, which I happen to love. It's very dainty looking, yet substantial. It looks fabulous on, as well.

TAG Heuer cal. 251.262 wrist watches news:
The first thing that came to mind when I first saw this image in an e-mail from Hublot was "wait, what?" I didn't get it. What was this? At first I thought the image of Bernie Ecclestone was some type of painting. I?am not familiar with his face, but I do know of his work as the guy who runs Formula 1 racing. The British Billionaire's face was distorted with a painful looking black eye and other facial bruises. The 80-year-old was recently violently mugged, and among other things, his Hublot King Power F1 watch was stolen.None of this information was placed in the above image send out by Hublot. In fact, it is entirely cryptic in its messaging. The point of it is simple I think. A beaten up elderly man along with the statement of "See what people will do for a Hublot." Furthering the concept that the watches are so in demand, you'd punch your grandpa for one.Since the release of this image a few days ago, the media has been all over it. Mostly admonishing Hublot for its audacity and la
Steampunk fans rejoice. This artistic item of display is the new Louis Moinet Vernoscope. Meant to celebrate the popularity of the Louis Moinet Jules Verne Instrument watch collection. I think the watches were a bit of a surprise hit, but they are really cool. And by the way, I have an in-depth review of a Louis Moinet Jules Verne Instrument watch coming up soon. The Vernoscope was recently unveiled at the Maison d'Ailleurs (House of Elsewhere), a Swiss sci-fi museum. They have some interesting Jules Verne items there, and Louis Moinet has donated the first prototype Vernoscope to the museum. It is based on the the works of Jules Verne and made by artist Jean-Yves Kerv¨¦van (who Louis Moinet has worked with in the past). This is the next such interesting piece meant to be a watch container and an item of art from Louis Moinet - you can read about their previous item, the Meteoris here.I am not sure how many Vernoscopes will be made, but I promise you they will be part of a pretty limite
Adding a 5170 (in white matel) will be perfect for me, but guess I have to wait for the next/next next Basel Fair!
Greeting to TRF. I love the Skydweller and its complications but feel its a bit big on my wrists. Not sure I can pull it off! Most of my watches are 36-40mm. My 40mm watches seem to be the sweet spot for me. Anybody of the opinion that Rolex could/would squeeze that complication into a smaller package? Never know what the mother ship may do but I'll add this to my wish list! Thanks for your thoughts and wear em' in great health!
Just chatting with my local AD and he says:¡±Rolex has retired the ladies 26mm Datejust in favor of the new 28mm Datejust. I still have a handfull of the 26mm...brand new and 25% off... So is this worth a look? Ignore sales tax as there is a way to avoid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
