This watch is truly massive and does not feel very elegant at all. I wanted something that would transition from day to night and would be in fashion forever. This will do neither. It's too large for night time, and it's also so large that it's going to become as dated as a pair of 1980's shoulder pads . . . !

Greetings everybody. I'm a new real watch owner and my first purchase was this new Speedmaster Auto-Date 3210.50. I absolutely love the watch and it seems to be keeping very good time after a week of ownership. I have searched quite a bit for an answer regarding winding an automatic watch, but haven't come up with anything substantial - most answers are regarding the Speedy Pro.My question is how often do I need to wind the watch? I understand it has a 44 hour reserve, but the book doesn't give much as far as a guideline for winding it. Initially, I wound it about 15 or 20 times and that's been about it. I purchased it new, so who knows how long it was in the display case. Also, do I wind until it stops? I'm thinking I should do this and then just continue wearing it every day...Thanks.John
