TAG Heuer CAT7010.BA0952 wrist watches news:
Lots of flux going on in my collection, as I try to upgrade my vintage pieces. Last month I found a decent bumper that grabbed my attention. But alas, it fell by the wayside quickly. Well, how's this for a flip?A 1960 Seamaster DeVille - gold bezel & SS case, original hands, signed dial, crown, crystal on a front loading 611 17j manual wind. Everything except the strap & buckle is kosher! I'm stopping by my watchmaker next week and inquiring about a buckle to match. Now I just need one more vintage piece.....but who doesn't say that?
I got this watch because I thought it was interesting. It is not very collectable; the watches shipping was almost the same cost as the watch. Plus they do not make a mechanical watch for the blind anymore; they are either electronic or a talking watch now. Zale's Jewelers contracted this watch out to Baylor Watch Co. to manufacture the watch. Baylor was one of many brand names used by Benrus Watch Co., which was founded in 1927 and continued until at least 1977. The company had a presence in the USA.
Even since I sold my SteelFish, I have been lurking at the SeaWolf, however, I cannot decide whether to get the Cobra yellow version or the Volcano black (batons). I love the look of both watches, even though they do give out different signals.I am worried that the Cobra yellow version will be too colorful to wear at e.g. work (office, research), but on the other side I am worried that the Volcano black version will be too conservative (dull/boring). Also it should be mentioned that I have never had any colorful watch (the closest is a white/silver faced SteelFish), and in my current 'collection' I have a Panerai 305 and a Planet ocean - both have black dials. What are your experiences with the two versions of the amazing SeaWolf? Pros and cons? Thanks
What's up guy's I'm looking to give my YG breitling bentley motors a face lift. It's 47mm and need a 24mm yg breitling speed bracelet. Can anyone help new or used.
I'm looking to purchase a 41.5mm Aqua Terra with blue dial in the near future. There currently are 2 versions that are available. #1:.omegawatches/collecti...23110422103001This is the outgoing model with the brushed bracelet and the framed date window. #2:.omegawatches/collecti...23110422103003This is the new version with the updated movement and higher MSRP of $6000 vs $5500 of the older model. The new version does not have the framed date window and the new bracelet has polished center links. Personally I much prefer the older version, but thinking about resale maybe it is smarter to get the new one with the updated anti-magnetic movement? What do you guys think?
