Submariner with date and worth the wait
New member here. First time Rolex owner. Finally popped my cherry on a black stainless steel submariner. Love it. But wanted to share my buying experience to give the members here another datapoint on the current shortage of professional models. I live in San Diego California and spent about a month constantly calling and visiting 3 or 4 of the Rolex ad��s trying to find one in stock. No luck. Best I could do was get one to say they they would call me if one came in. All I got was a call for a no date. But even that was sold by the time I went in to buy it. So I shifted gears and went on a trip to Las Vegas. I made the rounds figuring one of those fancy casino ad��s would have one. Well the first place, tourneau in caesars forum shops had one but it was already on the buyers wrist who walked in 10 minutes before me! Undaunted I went to the Bellagio shop and no luck either. Finally I went to the ad at the Wynn. (Insert your Steve Wynn joke here). Really nice dealer lady said they didn��t

Power reserve problem
So i have a rolex explorer 2 and i tested the power reserve a while back and it was getting 46 plus hours now past two times i have tested it i was getting 34 to 37 hours i know it is supposed to get around 48 but since i only wear it on the weekends from time to time can that affect the power reserve?
