Audemars Piguet 67607bc.zz.d001su.01 wrist watches news:
A couple days ago I was invited to attend, and possibly lead a session or two, a multi-day academic retreat to be hosted by my graduate program next spring. The first train of thought that raced through my mind: "Which watches should I bring? The Cedric looks properly academic, but by then I should have my engraved decagon restored and ready for wear. The pretty little coral Olivia is suitably spring-like, right? Oh, I should bring something durable. The Seiko 5 will do, although I really do want to pick up a Citizen diver sometime soon anyway. I'm saving the Stowa for my thesis defense. Hmm. I'll have to think carefully about this."The second thought: "Oh, so what do they want me to talk about?"
I recently had my 3445 overhauled by a local watchmaker. I wore the watch for a few days and then put it on my winder. It's been just over a month and it is 7 mins fast. Is this the best that can be expected from this movement or should I drop it back off when I pick up my 3802 that he is working on?Also, the 3802 has a 315 movement, what can be expected for accuracy of that one? Thanks in advance.Ronps sorry typo, I meant 27-460 m
Hi everyone,Like you all know I have ordered the 5712 in SS, but today my grey dealer told me that he has just received the 5712 in White Gold, it is from 2012, he will send it to Patek Philippe to have it slightly polished and to change the bracelet. The white gold would cost me 400 euros more than the SS.For me the plus of the SS is the bracelet, I prefer metal bracelets to leather, and the beautiful blue dial. The plus of the White gold is that it's gold, the grey dial is also great and it would cost me basically 10.500 euros less than retail price, whereas on the SS version I would save Seeing that I will be living in one year in Thailand maybe the metal bracelet is the better choice, honestly I prefer the SS version because of the metal bracelet, but maybe it is more reasonable to get the gold version for this price?Knowing that I won't be able to buy another Nautilus, so the one I buy will be the only one, maybe will be able to get later an Aquanaut but 2 Nautilus is just impossibl
I got a chance to try on a range of Panerai models a few days ago. I loved the size and feel of the 45mm Radiomir 1940 case-- perfect fit for me. The solid lugs were a way better choice for me than the wire lugs on the other Radiomir collection, and the slim case (height-wise) is really lovely. The Automatic text on the dial just kills a lot of the potential models for me-- it throws off the balance, the mismatched font drives me nuts, etc. Just a no-go. Are there discontinued models of the Radiomir 1940 I should be looking around for that are in 45mm but with a manual wind movement or that don't have Automatic on the dial? I'm okay with the Black Seal dial text as that at least matches font-wise. Any idea if there are upcoming models later this year/early next that may fit my requirements? I've looked and can't find much. Many thanks!
Hello guys and gals :)I¡¯ve been starting to think about cleaning my 2 month old two tone submariner.I was reading on the Rolex site that they recommend using ¡°soapy¡± water and a soft brush.I saw other some people recommend ¡°Wristclean.¡± I saw several members of this forum use Dawn dish soap.I also read something about using a soap that has no Ammonia in it.My question is, is there a soap that you all use that won¡¯t damage the rubber seals inside the watch and is easy to find? By this I mean something that isn¡¯t specifically made for cleaning watches like ¡°Wristclean.¡±If so, can you please share what soap you use and why? Many thanks in advance!
