Alain Silberstein iKrono Watch
This isn't a brand new release (still pretty fresh though) from French watch maker Alain Silberstein - and it is one of my favorites. Sort of like his take on the Bell & Ross BR01 instrument watch look and style. Best of is that I got to check some iKrono watches out last month in person. A square case in titanium with an elevated round dial. The case is available in a micro-grain finish (sort of like sandblasted) and also with black PVD coating. Alain Silberstein further uses a special silicium anti-stain treatment. This is a really good addition when dealing with things like finger oils and such. The cases don't really smudge when you touch them. I love the machine-like presentation, though it is softened by smooth bolts on the case and the overall smooth edges all over the case and surfaces. Last night at Tribeca Cinemas in New York City, we were proud to attend the NY premiere of David Armstrong's The Watchmaker's Apprentice. The documentary film, shot in very last days of master watchmaker George Daniels' life, goes on to tells us not only of Daniels' contributions to horology, but also his relationship with his one and only true apprentice – Mr. Roger Smith. We'll have a recap of last night's events shortly, but first, we wanted to tell you what Roger Smith, arguably one of the finest watchmakers alive, was wearing. Why the Maxi case? Just a thought
I really could do without the maxi lugs on my 114060 it's probably my only dislike, and I have sold and repurchased it 2 times and I'm thinking about selling again. I keep thinking why did Rolex redesign the case with the thick lugs. After looking at vintage subs with thin over polish lugs, I though maybe Rolex redesigned case with the though of longevity in mind! Imagine in say 30, 40 years it could withstand numerous polishing and the lugs would be the same as say a new 5513 Just a thought

Jubilee bracelet question
I want to get a jubilee for my BLNR. 2 questions. Are they hard to come by and will it fit my Pepsi as well? I see posts about a super jubilee but don¡¯t know the difference in the bracelets.
