- I really love, love this watch. I love the collage of colors from the sparkle in the various stones. The face of the watch is also easy to see. It'comfortable to wear. I'll give it a 9 on a scale of 1 - 10.

Omega 123.55.27.60.52.001 wrist watches news:
I think out of the Mitsukoshi SE Panda, Gemini blue dial and the CK-2998, this is easily my favorite Speedmaster combination. I switched out the blue strap and placed the special ordered 1125 bracelet on the CK-2998 and the result, just out of this world awesome. The combination screams vintage and the bracelet for some reason just makes the blue look more black and resulting in a super panda look. Omega should really make the CK-2998 release in a bracelet and even if they made the run in 8,000 pieces, they would sell out like hot cakes. Is this not just awesome or what?
Following on from my thread asking your thoughts on the blue 5711 a few weeks back, I put my name down. I was told that they would have an idea on allocation next February.Currently on a two week med cruise and last week I had a call to say that they had unexpectedly received one and it was mine if I wanted. Wouldn't hold it until my return so I had to bank transfer the funds. That was done and I'll pick it up next week. I'm guessing I only had to wait 6 weeks, so I've been quite lucky.Never had a Patek and not bought from that shop before, though they own a small chain of Rolex AD's and I'm a fairly good customer.
If you could have any type of seconds hand on your favorite Patek reference (regardless of what type is currently used on that reference) which type would you prefer?1. Center sweep2. Small seconds hand/subdial3. No seconds hand
The 5711 is so popular that I can't even get on a waiting list at ADs.And the premiums that are being asked on the gray market for a 5711 are incredible. So, I am actually considering getting another PP, the 5130P WT instead. I have no world timer watch or even a GMT watch, so the 5130 would add a new aspect and variety to my collection, although I would never travel with it.Then again, should I wait and see about trying to get a 5711, even though the prices are climbing as I type? I know that I have to ultimately decide for myself, but am curious what others would choose, if the option was between a 5711 or a 5130?
So now we have the 5170, the new Patek chronoe which replaces the sought after 5070.Which of both would you want the most ?Picture credits - the 5170 is the Patek press release photo, the 5070 is a picture I found on the netnew 5170discontinued 5070The 5170 is only available in yellow gold but ofcourse red and white gold and platinum will follow
