Oris 01 643 7609 8454 07 4 24 34EB wrist watches news:
hello fellow oris fans:D...i'm a new member and i plan to buy another oris (have a '03 tt1, rubber bezel, black numeral, metal bracelet, love it and it's keeps great time even after 5 years and some hard wear) i'm in a toss up between a tt1 divers date blue face and bezel with metal bracelet and a tt1 divers titanium date like mr. beeches or with luminescent dial....my question is how much lighter is the titanium ? do you really feel the difference? and has anyone seen the blueface diver in person? is it same blue as omega?..i've seen the omega and like the color...well as they say, "whaddya know?" thanks in advance for opinions and advice, fred:)
Newbie here. Hi. Nice forum and a nice vibe here. A question I have and interested in the answer as I seem to get conflicting answers on different forums / AD's etc...Simply, Does leaving the chrono running continuously increase wear on the movement...? Movements in question are the ETA 2894-2 and the 7750 in a couple of watches of mine. Sorry if this has been asked before and thanks in advance.
I will start to travel extensively to Latin America and, a bit less often, Asia. I would love to have my ROO 26470 SS as a regular travel companion, but wonder if you have any insights as to how safe it is to wear an AP in places like Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Rio, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Beijing and Shanghai. Please do not get me wrong - I am not making any assumptions here, just asking. Thanks and have a great w/e everyone.
My father passed away in the 60s, and I have recently acquired his Tudor, minus the 'Oyster' shaped case and the steel bracelet.I'm trying to find out the year etc. Seems like the Rose in the Shield comes from the 40s but not sure.It has the 'rose in the shield' above the Tudor Oyster Automatic, numbers 2,4,6,8,10,12 on a champagne coloured dial with the words 'Shock Resisting' between the 4 and 8 position. It is a hack second hand. I was told by a jeweller that it is gold filled and the gold plating on the crown is almost gone. The serial# is 509xx next line is 95xIt gains about 1 minute overnight on my night stand, so I'd say it's working quite well for an older watch. Here are some pictures. Any info would be great, and hope you enjoy the pics.Denis
As most of you know, I took delivery of my new WG Submariner yesterday and today I decided to take some macro pictures of the hallmarks that Rolex uses on the case for the 18k gold. Each corner has a different mark...my favorite being the scales with the 750 balanced in between. I thought this was interesting and wanted to share. One more wrist shot just for the heck of it!
