hi guys i m new to this forum so first off i ll say hello. secondly i d like to ask a few questions about the watch above. i recently received it as a gift and am delighted with it. i ve always had a thing for omega watches. i think it`s an early 50`s model with a bumper movement . i was just wondering how often i should get it serviced ? my other question is one that ll probably upset the purists but i was wondering if it would be possible to fit a display back to it?

Picked this one up as a "beater." I am pleased with this watch, too. This should've been enough for me but beforfe I decided on this, I saw several others that caught my eye...and so the bug struck.

There I was 2:30 in the morning the seconds counting down - - - 2 to go - - - me thinking I might actually get this one - - - and then - - - aaarrrghhh!!!!!! - - - prepurchase outbid (everymans nightmare) - - - who was it??? When I find out I'm coming around and graffitti your house. Gotta get Hammersnipe.
