Ulysse Nardin - Show yours!
I've been a lurker here for a while and finally decided to join in the fun.I was a collector of mostly Russian watches but then my tasted turned so here I am.I just purchased my first "quality" watch and absolutely love it. The watch is a Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Chronometer. I spent several weeks looking at different watches and Ulysse's have really caught my eye. I think with the rubber strap they have the fun and business look to them.Here's mine:I'm starting to save up for another Ulysse Nardin watch I might be hooked...

So, a few months ago, i purchased a RG rubber clad, I wore it for a month, the clasp was kinda hurting and I forgot how much the RC clasps bothered me when i used to own a SS RC.. I decided to trade it at a loss, which really hurt after only having it for a month and it being brand new.. But this new one really grew on me more and more.. The more i saw it on this forum, the more I wanted it.. It's been over a 3 month wait since I placed my order.. i guess from what i hear this is a hard one to find in any AD.. Just intime for Xmascan anyone guess? hot off the press from AP..

I'm on the hunt for the next watch (again) and hoping to add one more piece to the collection before the end of the year. I currently have the BLNR, a SS black dial Daytona, and an AP ROO (Black Themes). I think I want something on strap More importantly, got to be versatile even if it's on the dressy side (if that makes sense). I was on my way home from a business meeting and naturally, had to swing by an AD to see what they had. Plenty to look at and I had great time trying several pieces on. Thanks JoannaObviously, each is quite different, a large $$$ discrepancy between certain models, and each has something unique that makes it really standout. Oddly enough, the last one I tried on (the PP Travel Time) was the one that really stood out for me. Ironically, I tried it on just as I was about to walk out! Rubber was not something I was considering but everything about the watch just works in my opinion. Thoughts and suggestions welcome!

Do you only buy/prefer the same Rolex model?
I¡¯ve seen many Rolex aficionados that only buy or simply prefer the same model, might have different variations or upgrades. I don¡¯t think there is anything wrong with that, I¡¯m just curious.What is the primary reason you only purchase or prefer a certain model?
