TAG Heuer CAL2110.FC6257 wrist watches news:
May I, for a moment, engage you all with my tale of woe with a forum sponsor, and what that forum sponsor did? Thanks so much.I ordered one of the $9.90 watch winders from Luxury-Pak. I went to their website, selected the winder I wanted, and made my PayPal payment via a link on their site.Well, come to find out, there was a problem with the link, and the payment went God knows where. It certainly didn't go to Luxury-Pak.When I contacted them (WTF user "Tracy") to let them know that the payment had been sent, and what address it was sent to, I was told that the address was not associated with Luxury-Pak, and that they received nothing from me.Imagine my dismay.Well, long story short: Luxury-Pak had reported five mis-directed payments to PayPal. I filed a claim with PayPal.At that point, I figured I was out of luck. The winders sold out fast, and Luxury-Pak didn't get my payment.Well, I get a PM from Luxury-Pak the next day. They said they would send out my winder while we're waiting for
I was thinking about this last night, and I come on here today and see Scott D post his gameday Falcons watch, so now I am convinced it was divine providence that I obtain a green watch to show my support for the NY Jets (Dennis, no Eagles green, thankyouverymuch). So, suggestions please. Just keep it reasonable, less than $400 or there about (less is better, it'll be a beater based on the Jets history).
Hi EveryoneI am new hear so please be gentle with me. I have always had an interest in nice watches, although not always been able to afford them. But it doesn't cost anything to look :-)I am seriously considering purchasing a Jaeger-Le-Coultre watch, probably one of the "Master" range.I am looking for some advice regarding the purchasing of the watch.1) I have seen on a prominent website that the watches I like are very attractively priced. watchesanddiamonds is the website although I am sure there are others. Has anybody had dealings with this company and what are the potential issues, if any?2.) If I buy from an AD where in the South Yorkshire/North Notts area is a AD who will have some to see and feel/touch etc3.) What are peoples views on this watch and do they recommend any other in the same quality/lookHope you guys can advise meBest wishesGary
I'm sure there's older threads with similar topics and I could have posted this in the Rolex General section but since I feel as though the AP Subsection is my online family, it only felt right to start it here. I travel a lot for work, which means that unfortunately I must part with my babies quite often. As I was getting ready for the usual trip to the safe deposit box before my departure, thought I'd snap a photo of all the boys together before they go back into the cold, lonely safe ...One always comes along though, and since I'm usually overseas, it's this one!I'd love to see all your family photos!
I see they are in Canada...Straps look nice - and only a 2.5 week turnaround? That's mighty fast. My current favorite strap maker is approaching 4 months.Questions (yes I will ping the maker, but hoping for TRF reactions)- How is the quality compared with other custom shops?- Can you choose your lining?- is the hole placement same as OEM? I.e. Do I need to adjust for anything on the strap length?- Anything I should know? Thanks in advance!
