TAG Heuer cr5110 wrist watches news:
It's Friday, and here's a Friday Hamilton. I thought it looked appropriate with my old calabash pictured with a copy of the first page of "The Story of the Man with the Watches," from the Strand Magazine, July 1898, taken from my copy of "The World Bibliography of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson." Nope, the snippet doesn't give a clue how the rest of the story evolved, except I'll bet pocket watches were involved. But I am sure the solution was elementary - to Holmes, anyway.
I went and tried one on today and fell in love!! That thing is a real wrist tank! Only thing I'm unsure of is the unorthodox crown locking mechanism. Anyone have any experience with this baby? My AD is having a sale on wednesday so I decided to wait on the purchase but if all goes according to plan, it will be mine soon!!!
"Our 6th Annual Tampa GTG will be on SAT, October 29th 2011"...as many of you know, we have started a trend in 2006 that brought many WIS from all around the world even closer. Some guys just jump in the car and get there, but many have boarded the planes or crossed the oceans !Not that GTG’s are something new, but I think that back in 2006 we started something very special. Something that brings this great watch enthusiasts community even closer and something that is actually ‘way’ beyond watches. I am glad that watches are our hobby ! Because of them we have met many great people that we are proud to call close friends now !What started innocently in fall of 2006 something that has now become a tradition. By now we've had 5 nice autumn meetings in Tampa and 4 in spring that took place in New York City. In-between these larger events, several of us met in Las Vegas, London or Basel, but somewhat the FALL/TPA and SPRING /NYC meetings that are 6 months apart are becomi
....older Speedmaster Pro model # ST 145 022.Looking to replace my stretched original 1171 SS bracelet with a more modern Speedmaster Pro bracelet.Checked Ofrei and came up with SS bracelet. OEM 020ST 1998 849 $746.00Would like to confirm this is the right one before I start searching for a used bracelet.Did a search and all I found was the grail of Speedmaster bracelets, the #1450. Unfortunately too rare and pricey for me.Thanks in advance, Mark.
Hi All, My final 4 has been a journey that I have shared to some extent. Current and very happy list is PP 5960, 5712, 5711, 5124. Yes blue is my colour...So what brings me to write is to put out the following - I am not asking to debate the merit of having both 5711 and 5712, I love both although preference is 5712, I have the opportunity to trade the 5711 for 5164 plus a bit, so wondering whether this will get more wear and round out the collection better, or whether 5711 remains the ultimate investment piece. Look forward to thoughts, warm wishes to all.
