Hello everyone,I took a chance on this watch in a car boot. It was inside a 20 quid box of mostly junk. It's a Seamaster Cosmic 166026. I haven't found one with a similar face, but the mark to the right of the date, and the not perfect hands make me think it hasn't been refurbished.Could i ask as favour from a newbie that you learned folk take a look and see what you think? I've attached a couple of pictures. I'm not able to get a picture of the movement as i can't remove the crystal. Many thanks.photo-1.jpgphoto.jpgphoto-3.jpg
...made nicer watch than this? I doubt it. I have owned many but none of them have given me the same satisfaction.
Please excuse my complete ignorance, but I have just bought a Wolf Designs module 1.5 winder without instructions. I know it looks simple but could someone please explain how it works. Is "a" clockwise? "b" anti clockwise and "c" bi directional? Or is there some other combination? Also when I put my Submariner on the holding pad the winder seems to stick a bit. its very free when no watch is attached. Is my sub too big? thanks for any help Knoffie
Hello,My vintage Speedmaster Pro man on the moon came standard with the newer speedmaster bracelet...anyhow.... I then wanted the 1171 bracelet also....Once I fitted it.... I felt 1 thing.....THE 1171 IS CHEAP CRAP!Why do I feel this way? sure a 1680 sub has a cheaper/old style braclet also compared to the new solid end link bracelet.... but this OMEGA 1171 feels like junk.....
