I'm sharing this experience as a general matter, and not Rolex specific, that's why I'm posting hereSome time ago, I started the restoration of this Rolex, heirloom from an uncle...Well, the job is almost done, the only thing that I'm still waiting is for the new crystal to arriveBut today I received back from the U.S. my restored dial, and I have to say that the job done is simply wonderful...This is how it was before it's trip to USA for restorationThis is how it looks now, after the restoration, sorry for the pics, but you get the idea (I really need a new camera )All was repaired, repainted and fixed, including the luminous markers, and honestly, I'm very happy, because as you can see, this dial has a very rare (at least to me) markers in the 6 and 9 positions.I was looking for a replacement, and couldn't find one with this kind of markers, so, the restoration was the road to walk...The job was made by Kirk Rich Dial in CaliforniaMany many thanks to Steve (member N2FHL) for giving
Hello watch nuts! Would anyone be able/willing to post some wrist shots of a 18239? I am looking at getting one, and wanting to see if it appears less flashy than the 18238. Thank you kindly!
Evening all;I wanted to put a strap on my Pelagos since I purchased it and wanted to keep it as OEM as possible. I also own a blue Pelagos, so wasn't really interested in wearing the LHD on the supplied bracelet.I initially put it on my black strap from my Black Bay, and liked the look and comfort very much but still wanted to change things up a bit.Once the Black Bay chrono was released and I saw that brown suede strap I knew I had to have it, so I recently went to an AD and ordered it. While I was there I also ordered the taupe strap originally supplied with the Black Bay S&G.Here are a few pics with combos I've tried so far. I'll follow up with some pics with the taupe strap once I switch over to that one. Enjoy
