Omega 22638000 wrist watches news:
Hi Rob, Jack Forster here (Managing Editor) and thanks for volunteering to be the first! It’s a great idea, and one we’ve certainly talked about here a lot. We’re definitely going to start keeping an eye out for great questions from our readers. Of course, we can’t answer every query but we want our readers to know we really appreciate their input and look forward to being able to get into some interesting discussions with you guys and gals. Bear in mind we’ll always try to present your email verbatim but we may edit (lightly) for clarity, punctuation, and so on. If everyone can please also bear in mind that what you’ll read is always the take of a particular editor (myself in this case) and therefore really a personal rather than collective HODINKEE opinion, that’d be great as well. 2 OF 4 Breitling Transocean 1915 So here’s the score: we, and I, like the Transocean family in general quite a bit, and we’ve writte

I was reading my latest copy of Archeology Magazine and came across a full page ad for a limited edition Stauer Meisterzeit automatic watch. Archeology is a great magazine, and unless you are into watches, you probably would not catch the blatant and misleading aspect of the ad.So here's the ad:Note the mention of the "$31 million" worth of Swiss machinery, which would intimate to me that this was a Swiss watch. Then, look at the back of the watch I circled. Here is a close-up of the watch in the ad:Once again, in the highlighted area, there is no writing. If you go to Stauer's website, which sort of looks and works amateurish, you can find the Midnight Meisterzeit watch and peruse photos of it. In fact, it seems to me, the same exact photo found in the ad is at the Stauer website, except for one detail. See the circled area.It seems whoever made the ad, purposefully Photoshopped out the "China move" embossed on the back of the case. (Shouldn't it read China movement anyway?"China M
I purchased a speedy bracelet from ebay for my speedy pro 3570.50. Paid a pretty penny for it too. The bracelet is the older style 1498 with 840 end links.I am trying to figure out whether it is genuine or whether I got suckered into a fake.Reason why I feel something is not right is the clasp. The clasp is very stiff. It actually hurts my thumb trying to open the clasp, and it hurts my wrist when trying to lock it in. It is bloody tight! Are the omega clasps meant to be this bloody tight?
Here are the pics I took during my visit to SIHH, I hope you enjoy them................
