TW Steel TWCE-1016 wrist watches news:
I have my eye on a few AP's looking to make my first AP purchase. I like a lot of different designs and styles and am having a hard time picking. I like many of the ROC designs and I do prefer a larger size watch, more than 40mm and happy with 44.My question is about the placement of the dials and numbers on the chronograph models. At the risk of offending, and with my advance apologies, I just wonder why some manufacturers add large numbers to a dial and then chop them off with other features like sub dials or a day/date window. It somehow looks strange to me. Like why have the bottom part of an 8 on the dial when over half of it is obscured by a sub dial? Why not just omit that number or use some other type of index? Is there some history to this or other reason to justify something so odd? I love many of the color and design variants of the ROC but that one aspect just kills the look for me. Its too bad because otherwise they fit my criteria for size and design. I know in th
Hi everyone,After buying a few aftermarket straps for my Pam's, I would like to buy a few buckles as I have only bought straps without buckles and put the original Pam buckle on them.I would like to buy 3, one in steel, on in titanium and one in PVD-DLC, the last one seems to be harder to find as I don't want a PVD but definitely a DLC, especially my 28 is DLC, and DLC is way harder to scratch.Does anyone know where they have good quality buckles but especially sell DLC one's?If you have any ideas how I could find thanks in advance, as I would like not to have to change buckle every time I change a strap.
Just a friendly heads up.There is a new GMT in the case at Tourneau in King of Prussia Pennsylvania. With all the talk of a shortage I thought someone might be able to scoop this up.
While Rolex is still the most reputable company in the world, it does not retain it's 'excellent' rating.https://.forbes/sites/vickyva.../#6b797fdc26d5Of the 100 companies on the list, 58% of those experienced a decline in ratings.“There is a growing crisis of trust in the world, especially among big companies making record profits,” said Hahn-Griffiths. “These companies are increasingly judged on aspects of their morality and ethics. Today, companies are more widely scrutinized based on their alignment with social causes, how they behave, their enterprise-wide values and the internal culture they create – they are not solely measured on what they make or how the make it.”.watchpro/rolex-remain...A+-+2018-03-19Rolex has taken a lot of flak on these boards of late, which one might presume would be the most forgiving bunch of folks in the world. Are the findings of the RepTrack 100 related to the supply and demand crisis of late or is there a deeper meaning,
Hey folks! My 114270 which has the 3130 calibre as you know gives me very constant resaults of about +6 seconds per day no matter what position I put it on when it's not on wrist. The resaults are the same even when the eatch is on wrist. Literally, no matter what, it gives me about +6 per day. I heard and saw many people, and from other watches I have, the watch has variation between positions. Can folks who has Rolex with the 3130 comment on their performance of the calibre? Thanks guys!
