A little Elgin find livens up my month.
I haven��t been doing anything particularly interesting lately. Mostly tracking down parts and scavenging for Elgin 8/0 balances and hairsprings. If only Doug can get the cost of restaffing down under $20 I might be convinced to stop dismantling poor helpless grade 554��s. I am sorry I could not get the case open for pictures of the movement. I am selling it as is. The crystal is okay and the dial is aged.
