TW Steel CE3001 wrist watches news:
Perrelet watch company's new marketing message is that Perrelet watches are for non conformists. That is easy to say, but I like the message. It says me that they don't want everyone wearing their watches (Rolex) they want just a select few who really 'feel' when they experience what the brand has to offer. It is an interesting approach, but I think it works well for them.Perrelet is a brand that I think I am going to increase my coverage on. The brand has a very long history, but I am going to focus on their more modern offerings for the most part. Today I want to share with you their Jumping Hour watch. The design is really classy. With an avant garde circles withing circles look, and a resemblance to Jaquet Droz's designs that emphasize the seconds dial. The reason I really like Jumping Hour watches is their convenient simplicity and ease of use. Im an MRI tech, work with a 1.5t magnet, I walked into the scan room with my breiling was about a foot away from the magnet when I felt the tugging of my watch, I had forgotten to take it off ran out quickly to inspect, still running on time withn U.S atomic clock, should I fear magnetization or other damage
I LOVE the new 8500 POs and would love to add one sometime down the line. Even the price doesn't seem too bad for what you get in the watch. That being said, a major turnoff for me is the thickness of the watch. A 16610 Sub is my daily wearer, and I'm not too fond of watches that get much thicker than that. The PO 8500 seems quite a bit thicker. Is this a conscientious design choice by Omega (to accomodate the trend towards thicker beefier watches these days), or just a limitation caused by the movement itself? Is there a chance to see thinner 8500 diver watches from Omega sometime down the line?
