TW Steel TW40 wrist watches news:
Click here for the details of a true James Bond watch, the Rolex Pre-Daytona (REF 6238) worn by George Lazenby in James Bond: Secret Service of the Crown in 1969.
Does anybody have a picture of this watch? I am thinking of buying one, but like to see a non-stock photo. This will be my first Panerai.
For me (finally, a Hamilton after days of wearing my steel IWC cal. 89), this late '30s Rutledge. I have on it a peccary (wild boar) gray strap which appears to be a reasonably good fascimile of the original gray calf strap. Buckle is unfortunately not platinum, however!Oh, here's the IWC!
Is anybody else having a problem logging into this forum? I get an unending advertisement for gold shares. I finally got here by backspacing and and then googling Watch Talk and then clicking on this one. Not a very good description of the problem, I'm not very computer literate but I never had a problem before.
Does anyone happen to know the MSRP for the rubber strap and deployant buckle for the 45mm 8500 PO? I know what they go for on ofrei, but might be in the area of some dealers next week and if any of them had the straps in stock I wanted to know what the price comparison would be. TIA!
