Invicta 0764 wrist watches news:
Two Swiss watch companies threw their hats into the smartwatch ring right before the holiday shopping season. One is TAG Heuer, which introduced its Connected Watch, developed in cooperation with Intel Corp. and Google and powered by Android Wear technology (we covered it here). The other company is Movado, which launched three smartwatches: two in its Swiss-made collection and one in its Bold line of less expensive, non-Swiss casual watches.Movado is manufacturing its new smartwatches in collaboration with Fullpower Technologies, for the Movado Swiss pieces, and with HP, for the Bold smartwatches. The Swiss-made watches are called Movado Motion, and are powered by Fullpower¡¯s MotionX-365 platform. (It is the same platform used by Fre?de?rique Constant and Alpina brands, which both unveiled smartwatches last year.) There are two versions: the Museum Sport, for men, and the Bellina, for women. They provide several fitness-related functions including steps tracking, sleep monitoring, slee
I had a lunch meeting in NYC yesterday so of course I took the time to visit the AP Boutique. Fantastic layout - they make you feel very at home rather than in a store. They had a bunch of great pieces, but I am always surprised when the Boutiques don't have a lot of the non SE pieces in stock. For example the only RO Chrono they had was the brown dial option. The good, or bad, news was they had the black dial RO Dual Time (quick pic below). This was the first time I handled the piece. All I can say is I love the subtle red accents on the black dial. The dial has such a nice layout it doesn't seem cluttered at all.I think its only a matter of time now.....
Hello all-I'm currently going back and forth between purchasing this watch. There are 2 questions that keep coming up in my head and I've tried looking all over but end up a little more confused the deeper I dig.1. I don't have any other watches so this would be it. Would the 5167 stand up to the daily wear and tear of other 'dive' watches like the Sub C? I feel like there are 2 camps, one says that this would be a great daily full time watch. The other says, it is too delicate and wouldn't be able to take 'normal' everyday use.Can anyone whose owned this watch shed some light on this?2. I've heard that this model has had a bad rap with winding issues and not keeping time that great. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks again for the help!
I read that you can verify the authenticity of a Rolex at a RSC for $150 and have a few questions¡-How long does it take? -Is the price $150?-Does this include any type of paperwork or certificate card?Thanksedit - I meant RSC not AD
This is the watch I've always wanted more than any other. But it's always been out of my reach. This week I finally have one to call my own. I did have to trade two other watches [inc an Exp 114270] but it was well worth it.It's original dial and domed plexi but service hands from 2001 [I'm fine with this and secretly rather like being able to tell the time when I wake up in the night] and it has been polished a little more than I'd like, but to me it's perfect.I'm posting here so I can have an excuse to see it again since it went straight to the watchmaker for a service today.. Anyway I love it and have gotten more of a thrill from owning this than from anything else I've bought. Thats all really.Oh and it came with box, service papers, original booklets etc and original Rolex Ad sales receipt [it was first sold in 1984] but oddly [to me] not original papers. Either they were sold or the original owner kept everything even the receipt but didn't consider the Rolex papers important..
