- Beautiful watch! However, will have to remove some links. I was surprised at how expensive looking the watch was. I received the watch in a few days from ordering.

TW Steel TW924 wrist watches news:
Pequi-what? PequiGNET! You likely haven't heard of this brand as they haven't even looked in the direction of the US yet (as far as I know), but this France-based watch maker is one you should know about. They have a range of pieces with some unique styles. Some are their interpretations of other popular look, but all seem to have pretty nice values. Pequignet is also a true manufacture, and makes some of their own movements. For the rest they use Swiss-made ETA movements.First, the problems. Aside from not being available in the US, they have a name that sounds silly to US ears, and product names that follow suit. "Pequignet" looks about as fun to pronounce as "chartreuse." It sounds simple enough out loud, but the word itself is intimidating. These models for example are in the Moorea Triomphe collection. Moorea just isn't a name I would give to a masculine watch collection, but I suppose I can forgive that. The Moorea Triumph collection has a number of pieces. The simple of which run
Open from 1919 to 1933, the Bauhaus was a sort of Utopian school of art, craft and architecture that has had a major and lasting effect on modern design. Founded by architect Walter Gropius in Weimar, Germany, the Bauhaus in its fairly short lifetime output some of the great artists, designers and architects of the 20th century. Looking at the work from the period, its relevance and influence is undeniable, which is remarkable considering the school was founded nearly a century ago. With so many watches being large, aggressive and sport-inspired, something simple, easy to wear and versatile belongs in everyone's collection. Bauhaus inspired watches are a perfect fit, as their minimalist design makes them elegant enough to be dress watches, yet simple enough for daily wear. Often defined by a lack of extraneous detail, small stripped-down cases, clean fonts and thin hands, a Bauhaus watch has a design full of history, yet a modern attitude.1930's Kano by WUS member LeicaMasterThe fol
This is the chronograph we have been waiting for from Cartier. The Rotonde de Cartier Chronograph is round, 40 mm in diameter, uses Cartier's great in-house caliber 1904-CH, and looks fantastic. 2 OF 4 When we reviewed the Calibre de Cartier Chronograph here, we agreed that though the merits of the excellent in-house chronograph movement were very real selling points, there was a lack of design cohesiveness throughout the piece ¨C?seen primarily on the dial. Here, the Rotonde de Cartier Chronograph provides us with a more balanced, traditional dial with the full Roman numeral treatment, silvered outer minute track, and Breguet hands. 3 OF 4 The 40 mm case is wonderfully balanced, and the rectangular pushers are incredibly subtle from the front of the case looking at the watch. Inside the Rotonde de Cartier Chronograph is the same great 1904-CH self-winding movement from the Calibre Chrono. Here though, it actually fills up more of the case than with the Calib
I got a little delivery from Times of Plenty yesterday. It's the Gemini II with it's new, original style band today.
Is there anything out there that I could use to determine what dials were available on different Calatrava references. Really like the 5196 time only with small seconds and breguet numerals. I know a few other references also used that dial style but it seems that many of those references also used other dials as well.Any resources like this online for Calatrava references? I'm guessing some of the books you can buy may have this sort of info. This is the dial style I am referring to by the way, wondering what previous references of Calatrava used it (I know the 96 did but have seen others pop up with this dial as well)
