- You get a solar powered watch that receives signals from atomic clocks around the world and keeps itself in perfect time. Great durability and water resistance. It is a large watch, but I love these things.

Cartier Cartier 7970 wrist watches news:
Panerai first became renowned for its distinctively masculine divers’ watches. Now the Swiss watch brand with Florentine roots has released a watch suited for world travelers: the Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT 24H, the first Panerai watch to contain the new manufacture Caliber P.9003.The Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT 24H (Ref. PAM00531) displays the local time as well as the time in a second time zone, which can be read simultaneously by means of an independent central hand that makes one revolution around the dial in 24 hours. It is the first of the Panerai watches to be equipped with Caliber P.9003, an automatic movement based on Panerai’s existing Caliber P.9001, which adds to that movement’s features an innovative GMT function, which is indicated over 24 rather than 12 hours; it also includes a newly designed, circular power reserve indicator on the rear side, which is readable through the sapphire viewing window in the watch’s caseback.Caliber P.9003 bo

Bought this from the auction site, I've decided not to fight it anymore: I need a cool "new" watch to play with every week or so; I can't help myself. This is a neat one, big 35mm case, with a great dial. I added the Hadley bracelet which seems appropriate, as Hadley was a division of the Elgin co.
here is a link to video by A Lange & Sohne. I did not know they will build the entire movement then take it apart and polish it some more and build it all over again.YouTube - A. Lange & Sohne
So I have been lurking around this site for some time now, been window shopping even longer and figure this is as good a time as any for my first post. I am looking to make my first Rolex purchase in the near future and have narrowed it down to either a new or preowned SubC Date or SD4k.On a recent trip to a reputable brick and mortar I ran across a DS4K in excellent to mint shape and even had a few stickers left hidden on the clasp. It comes with a two year in house warranty, but no box or papers. The price with a discount came out to $6,745. I know if it sounds too good to be true it probably is, but I am starting to think I probably shouldn't have walked out of the store without this one. What do you think? Should I go back and scoop this up. If so, is there anything in particular I should look out for or ask?
