Bought this for its hands. Stated as being a 17 jewel 731 movement with a stainless steel back. (Guess this would make it a c1959-62 model). I can't see it in Shugart - but I've seen a 1958 Blancpain and a 1951 Bulova with this case and lugs. So I'm wondering if it's a Hamilton and, if so, what model?Many thanks in advance.stales

I heard a story.
I was told, from a very liable source, that Patek once released 10 or less 5711's with a camouflage green dial, much like the one on the Aquanaut that made it's way to the Sothebys auction in Geneva this summer. Apparently these green dial 5711's were only given to selected clients named directly by Mr. Philippe Stern. I wonder if anyone has seen it or heard a similar story ?

Question about Patek 5980
Hey guys,I stopped by my AD today and I was playing with the 5980R. I noticed that when I start the chrono, the minute hand of the chrono subdial moves slowly towards the one minute mark before the center seconds hand reach 12 o clock. Is this normal? Thanks.
