Technomarine 213002 wrist watches news:
I was looking online to see what Omega was doing for 007's 50th, and I am surprised to say not much. I see they do have a "limited" edition, 11007 pieces available, watch, that does have 007 across the face, and a very cool caseback (which is nearly always hidden); but, one thing that caught me by surprise was the $6800 price tag? Is this accurate? For similar Seamasters, why not spend $3000 less? I just can't seem to justify spending that kind of money for the watch, and am thinking of getting somethinge else (IWC). Does anyone think it is worth it? And yes, I realize it is all about the person and their opinion. Disclaimer, I only own one Omega watch that was given to me, so I am not even close to being familiar with the brand.
Received it the other day. So far I love it. It is better looking in person. I love the applied minutes because they are brushed silver with an iridescence. They shine when you move the watch from side to side. It also made photographing it difficult. The watch feels much smaller on than it is. The lume is good but I had a difficult time photographing it. The only negative I have right now is the lack of an ar coating on the crystal. I like the strap too.Pilot2..JPGPilot1..JPGPilot4..JPGPilot3..JPG
Anyone have same issue ? Ordered 2 high end straps from them. Got invoice right away saying will be rec'd in 3-5 days. Week later, and several emails from me regarding status / tracking number and still nothing. Some digging and I finally found a number (not listed on the site). Called about status, guy answered w/ loud stereo in the backround and I was told "he's not here, can I take a message?". Left a message and about half hour got email my paypal was credited w/ the $ I paid? So I lucked out. Hopefully main Jurgens in Germany site isnt as poor as the Jurgens USA. Germany site straps were much cheaper too !
I'm new to this forum and I truly enjoy watch talk. I've owned a number over the years from Bulova, to Casio, Invicta, to Cartier with a Rolex Sub thrown in at one point. I am by no means an expert but I love watches. I received this Orient Mako II for Christmas and I am in love. The quality at this price point is unbelivable. One of the best watches I seen at below $200.
This may have already been posted, I dont spend much time on the Omega forum. But I just was at the very upscale Somerset Collection in Troy, MI and sall this storefront right across from the existing Tourneau. Interesting that Tourneau will lost the Omega line, as well as losing the Rolex line a few months ago. Ouch. Always have terrible experiences at this Tourneau. Looking forward to the new Omega Botique.
