Ulysse Nardin Moonstruck Watch
This is the newest celestial watch from Ulysse Nardin. Announced about a year ago, I wanted to wait until closer to when you might be able to get one before discussing it. I believe that it is the most polished and refined of their celestial watches yet - even though it is not the most ambitious in terms of the information it displays. I received my Ball Moonphase last October as a birthday gift from my wife. She was intrigued with the tritium tube technology and was always showing me the ad's in the Watch Mags. I knew the old Ball, but not the new Ball. I began doing research on the company, trying to learn as much as I could. Together, we selected the Moonphase as the first of what became a four Ball Watch Household.Below is my review of my Ball MoonphaseCase/Bezel/Crown: The lightly brushed case is adorned with a highly polished bezel,. The 316L case features a screw in back, and lying below, the movement is further protected by an inner core of soft iron, shielding the movement from magnetic charges up to 4800 am/m.Like all Ball Watches, the phrase "accuracy under adverse conditions" applies, as this particular model also features shock resistance of up to 5000 g's. I've been considering a watch from Revue Thommen and while at their site stumbled upon a page dedicated to their in house movements.I'm just going to screenshot the page and see what you think or what you know about their movements.Revue Thommen – GT MovementI notice their beats per hour are 19,800but as our last discussion about that proved, it matters, it matters notNow, if I could find an RT, with an in house movement at a decent price, I might well go for it. I'd really like to have a Swiss watch without an ETA or SW movement, and instead, one produced by the manufacturer (and yes I now Swatch owns ETA, so the movements in a Hamilton, Tissot, and so on are in house, so to speak).

Patek Philippe 5153g
I am considering purchasing a PP 5153g and would be interested in hearing from anyone who owns this watch. I currently wear a PP 5196r and love its elegance, but there is something about the face of the 5153g that I love as well. Cheers
