Technomarine 115062 wrist watches news:
I had one on my wrist at an AD a few days ago. It is certainly beyond my price limit but I must say I quite liked it. No pictures I have seen seem to do the colour of the dial and bezel justice. When I saw the first pictures from Basel, even Rolex's own photos I didn't like it. In real life so to speak it is much more pleasing, to me anyway. I like the clasp and dive extension too. As far as the size/shape/feel...It is very different from the current sub, but I can't say better or worse, just different. Thanks for the review.
Cartier just announced that the Ballon Bleu is its best selling line. The CEO said it was because in difficult economic times consumers are looking for more discreet timepieces.I completely disagree with his explanation. I think they're popular because:1. They look great2. Celebs are wearing them, giving them more exposure.Thoughts?Blog here: Cartier Says that the Ballon Bleu is its Best Selling Watch
here's mine, heavy dial patina but I love it
Sad news here, my favorite PP is off for warranty service as when I was advancing the date wheel with the PP plunger, it stuck in-between numbers. Have any of you had this problem advancing the date by turning just the crown? Has a defective part been identified? This was being done at 8 am in the morning.
Okay I've visited my AD recently and he was pissed with no SS stock to sell. He recently spoke to Rolex executive and they assured that SS pieces will slowly trickle back to stores albeit at conservative rate. He mentioned that they discussed possibility about increasing Daytona production possibility but it was shot down and they want to stick to current number of 14,000 per year for the whole world. The executive gave reasons that number is decided after numerous meetings with marketing, production and only involves leadership and that number will continue to be same for a long time. So, there it is both versions of Daytona has 14K production count per year!Personally it looks very plausible number and not a stupid number thrown at my face!!Believe if you care or ignore but just wanted to share it here.Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
