- The watch is exactly what I was looking for. Works great and looks great with both gold and silver jewelry. I had lunch with a person who thought I was wearing a omega. Keeps great time too.

Technomarine 111018 wrist watches news:
The Hybris Mechanica Grand of Watch can be easily summarized in a few States. More complex world, 30 limited edition bracelet, $ 2.5 million fresh and comes in a vault as a presentation box. Also comes in one set with two other highly complex Jaeger-LeCoultre Watches, the Gyrotourbillon and the Reverso a triptyque. Together the watches will boast an incredible 55 complications.
High, looking at buying a second hand Schumaker in great condition. I own a nice seamaster and have wanted a Speedy for a while. I've decided I can't afford the Professional so I've decided this one could be the one for me, and probably contrary to most people I like the yellow dial. What I'm not sure about is the size of the watch. I see it quoted as 39mm body and I saw a reference somewhere as the same as the reduced model. I guess what I'm asking is what is the difference in size between a proffessional, an automatic and a reduced? Are they three different sizes and where does the Schumaker fit in? Is it considered a collectable or sought after model or a lesser oddity. I have no qualms at the price at $1200US as long as I would be likely to get most of my money back if I sell it down the track. Even though it doesn't come with box or papers it is in mint condition and from a reputable watch maker.Opinions appreciated.
So I was reading through some old threads on this forum and came across this watchtalkforums.info/foru...orum/41797.htmWhen I read this thread I was amazed that a regular person (making an assumption here, but the OP didn't seem to be a watchmaker) could piece together a watch from pieces purchased separately and even substitute a non-standard dial. Being new to the watch world, I don't have the faintest clue where to begin collecting parts for something like this, but I have a burning desire to do it. I love building stuff like that (2 1911's and 1966 Toyota Landcruiser pieced together from three abandoned trucks) and would love to translate that into a sweet watch that was really my own. My question is, how do I do it?EDIT: It strikes me that this may be more appropriate in the tech forum. If so, my apologies and if the mods would move it that would be awesome.
Hey everyone! I am not all too familiar with Omega's so with that said is this a fake? The auction is for the watch itself, he said he will include a leather band, but what band would make it original, can one be bought?Any opinions are appreciated.cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...link:middle:usDoes this look like a good deal? I really love the look of this particular model, what was/is retail on this model?cgi.ebay/8-885-OMEGA-Spee...QQcmdZViewItemJust a few more I saw...cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=008cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=005cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=007cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=012Thanks again for all of your help, I am really a Rolex lover but I want to add an Omega to the collection.
Howdy All,With an inspiration from another forum member, I decided to open this thread where we all can put our ego aside and share those oops moments many of us had made by passing on a deal we came across and now ....... so lets hear the stories:)
