Proper tool to remove a rolex braclet? - new style lugsCan anyone recommend the proper tool to have to remove the bracelet from a new style Rolex watch? This does not have the drilled through lugs, so I can't use toothpicks. I'd like to have a good tool, and be done with it. I don't want to use something that will hurt the watch.
Hey guys !This one is so over the top crazy rare it's not even funny ! ! ! ! The ONLY one that I've EVER SEEN ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! We have all seen Integrated Shrapnel Guard Trench Watches before but have you ever seen one in 10k GOLD FILLED ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? With SWIVEL LUGS ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? With a THREADED BEZEL & CASE BACK ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?With Elgin's RAREST RED 12 dial, the RED 12 Large Font BOLD Arabic Enamel Dial ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Oh yeah, it also has a grade 263, 17 jewel, size 0s movement with a SOLID GOLD TRAIN ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Every single Integrated Shrapnel Guard Trench Watch that I've ever seen has either been Sterling Silver or a form of Nickel, NEVER 10k GOLD FILLED.I've NEVER seen one with SWIVEL LUGS before either, they always have fixed lugs or pin bar.And I've certainly NEVER seen one with a THREADED INTEGRATED SHRAPNEL GUARD BEZEL & CASE BACK, these parts are ALWAYS "pop" on/off.Having them THREADED is a FAR superior design! The case was manu
are there any watch dealers in the Orlando area that I should be checking out?
My first and only Breitling. The Breitling Navitimer World. I considered getting a regular Navitimer for my last watch and decided to get a Pam000 instead. So when I saw the Navitimer World, I just knew this one was the one for me.I like history of this watch, the connection to flying, the slide rule function, the chronograph, and the GMT functionality with the red fourth hand. At 46mm it's the biggest dial I currently have on any watch, but it really doesn't wear that large on my wrist.
Planning my first PP purchase, been doing some essential reading but have a question for those who are more familiar with the specific models.1. Case thickness:5711 - somewhere around 8.5mm (but stand to be corrected)5712 - ditto 9.5mm5726 - ditto 11.6mm (reportedly almost identical to that of a contemporary Daytona)As I am looking to get a sleek and light watch, the debate is how light or not the 5712 and the 5726 wear.I've tried the 5712 (gold TT case and leather band), so I wonder how the 5726 compares to that. Having a Daytona I'm trying to imagine for a comparison but any brief opinions would be welcome.FYI I've tried the 5980 (steel of course) and it's too bulky for me.2. Movement noise:Been reading a number of pertinent threads for these models and saw members like Kevin ('yessir69') but also David ('perpetualman88') who have been talking about the 240 micro rotor movement of the 5712 which is ...virtually silent in comparison... with the non-micro rotor movement of the 5726.Sam
