Poor us who would love to wear this watch but cannot afford it (now or ever). A truly cool design that I think will appeal to a legion of watch lovers and traditionally non-watch lovers, alike. The time is told in a simple digital manner on four discs. Because there are four numerals (assume it said like 11:25 for the full four numbers). And this is why the brand is called 4N. I think it is sort of funny how brands come about with a plan of just selling one watch. Basically, all future 4N watches can only have 4 numerals right? You see this type of one watch brand pretty often in the watch world. Once in a while, the brand does well enough to make more models.The model name of the watch is something a bit weird like 4N-MVT01/D01/42 - at least I think. I am just going to call it the 4N, just like I call the Cabestan Vertical Tourbillon Winch watch, the Cabestan watch. Inside the 4N watch is the MVT01 movement. Hello TRF!I've been browsing the forum for several months and have finally mustered the courage for my first post.... Wanted to try to make the first one worthy of the forum.Please, let me preface that this is NOT a is it real/how much is it worth post, nor a veiled attempt to sell the watch, etc. This is meant as an honest attempt to obtain some information on the watch and break the ice with the fine folks on the forum. A little background on the watch:I've searched online and taken this watch to several ADs over the years to try to have it identified, but without success. So, I'd like to appeal to the experts here for assistance in determining what Model of Omega this is and an approximate age on it. Even the insurance appraisal from my AD is curiously vague regarding model information. The watch was my late uncle's. Advice on where/how to sell a Panerai
Hi AllFirst of all if I'm being honest I know very little to nothing about watches other than they tell the time and Rolex's are both good and likely out of my price range 🙂, so I apologise in advance for my ignorance and if I ask any silly questions. Black or brown leather strap..
I¡¯ve got a TT datejust with a black dial that I want to put on a leather strap. I can¡¯t decide which color leather to go with. Would a brown strap be too much with the SS case, gold bezel and black dial ? Or would the black strap look better with the black dial? Thoughts and opinions welcome....
